Wendell Welch, National Tournament Director for AAU National Junior Golf Championships, again on the cutting edge of junior golf announces Team golf. AAU wishes to offer team golf on a local and national level.

On the road to a National Championship!!!

Form your own team, or teams can come from your local courses or clubs. Teams will consist of three players counting two scores. Teams will be able to compete in all age categories. (You must keep ages with in two age group range).Two man teams will be accepted but three man teams are preferred. Teams will be allowed coaches and the coach can be anyone who is an AAU Member and 18 years or older.

Each tournament will be team competition and individual competition. There will be team champion, and individual champion crowned at each event. A State tournament played in June will lead to the National tournament in August 2009. All events will be eligible for National AAU and TYGA ranking points.
